Guest Arrivals
Please plan on arriving at least 15-30 minutes prior to your first treatment. This will allow time to check-in, change, complete your guest profile, and familiarize yourself with our spa. We will provide you with a luxurious robe, slippers, and private lockers for your convenience. Please leave all valuables at home, as Rivage Day Spa is not responsible for items lost, stolen or misplaced. Delayed arrivals will limit the time of your spa experience, so in consideration of other spa guests, your time may be adjusted accordingly, and the full price of your service will be charged. All outside food or beverages are prohibited in the Spa. For the comfort and safety of our guests and our staff, a friendly reminder that children are not permitted, for any reason, in our treatment rooms. We appreciate you helping us make Rivage a peaceful and relaxing space.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We have a 24-hour Cancellation Policy for all appointments. If you cancel, reschedule, or do not show the day of your appointment, the card on file will be charged for the entirety of the services scheduled.
Late arrivals: We cannot extend your time to accommodate guests scheduled after you. The full price of the scheduled service will still be charged.

Gratuities & Gift Cards
If you choose to provide gratuity for your technician, cash is preferred. Credit cards may be used for gratuities for an additional fee. Gratuity cannot be taken from a gift card, or account credit. If you are planning to use any gift cards towards your visit, gift cards must be present in order to redeem. We are unable to recover lost gift cards. Mobile payments are not accepted at this time.
Pre and Post Natal
A doctor’s note is required for anyone pregnant to receive a massage. Prenatal massage is offered in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. A doctor’s note is required Post Natal for the first six weeks after delivery. A six-week waiting period is applied to all cesarian sections deliveries.
Construction
Birmingham is always growing and improving around us. This may result in traffic and parking delays. In the event there is construction noise outside of our control, we have white noise machines and earplugs to make your visit as serene as possible.
Important Considerations
Please be advised; A doctor’s note will be required if you are under physician’s supervision for any medical conditions or medical treatments. Certain conditions and prescribed medications may a contraindication for services, or may require that a service be modified for your health and safety.
If you have received Botox or Fillers in the last 2 weeks, facial services cannot be perrformed and massage services may be limited. Please contact us right away so we may assist you with questions or rescheduling your appointments.
Parking
Monday- Saturday: We always recommend parking in the Pierce or Peabody parking structures. We do not recommend parking in any metered spot as most meters do not allow for parking for more than one hour.
Sunday Parking: Parking is free in the structures and meters on Sundays. However, we always recommend using the Pierce or Peabody parking structures.
Valet: Valet services are located right in front of our neighbor building, the Daxton Hotel. Monday through Friday valet is $20 for the first three hours, and $5 for each additional hour. On Saturday and Sunday valet is $30 for the first three hours, and $5 for each additional hour.Construction
