FAQ

Common Questions

What's the difference between HydraFacial Deluxe and Platinum?

Both include the full HydraFacial cleanse, exfoliation, extractions, customized booster serum, LED light therapy, and a face, neck & shoulder massage. The Platinum (75 min, $280) adds three extras: lymphatic drainage for deeper detox, a scalp massage, and a finishing mask. If you want the most comprehensive experience or have puffiness you'd like to address, Platinum is the upgrade.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

+

Best results are achieved on a bi-weekly basis. Because there's no downtime, there's no restriction on frequency. Many clients start monthly and increase cadence once they see how their skin responds. Your provider at Rivage will recommend a schedule based on your skin goals.

What do the Perk Eye and Lip treatments do?

+

The Perk treatments are precision add-ons for the delicate areas the main facial handpiece doesn't target. The Perk Eye ($50) brightens, firms, and hydrates the outer eye area. The Perk Lip ($35) gently exfoliates and plumps the lips and comes with a take-home lip product. Both can be added to any HydraFacial session.

Is the HydraFacial painful?

+

Not at all. Most clients describe a gentle, soothing sensation — like a light massage on the skin. The vortex extraction step may feel like mild suction, but it's completely painless. There are no needles and no anesthesia required.

Can I get a HydraFacial before a special event?

+

Yes — it's one of the best treatments to do before a big event. Because there's zero downtime and results are immediate, many clients schedule their HydraFacial the day before or even the day of a wedding, photoshoot, or special occasion. Your skin will look freshly glowing with no risk of post-treatment redness.

Are the body treatments standalone or do I need a facial too?

+

Fully standalone. The Back Facial, Décolleté, and Hands treatments are each independent and don't require a facial to accompany them. They use the same HydraFacial technology and customized boosters, just applied to your chosen body area.

Can HydraFacial be combined with other treatments at Rivage?

+

HydraFacial pairs well with many of our services including NuERA Tight radiofrequency tightening, IPL Skin Rejuvenation, and GLO₂ Facials. Your provider can help design a comprehensive skin plan that addresses multiple concerns. Just ask during your consultation.

How much does HydraFacial cost at Rivage Day Spa?

+

The HydraFacial Deluxe is $225 (60 min) and the Platinum is $280 (75 min). Perk Eye adds $50 and Perk Lip adds $35 to any facial. Body treatments are priced separately: Back Facial $175–$250, Décolleté $100, and Hands $75.
